For the real barbecue fanatic, a spit is a must. And what could be better than cooking large pieces of meat or poultry with a spit above the fire of the OFYR cooking unit or cooking delicious food in a hanging pan. The same set is offered for the OFYR 85 and 100. The set consists of 2 very solid stainless-steel uprights, which are ingeniously fixed under the hob, 2 stainless steel intermediate tubes (1 for the 85 models and 1 for the 100 models) which connect firmly at the top of the uprights, a skewer with swivel hook with 2 large and 2 small holders for clamping the meat or poultry, and an S hook for hanging a pan. Because of the fire, the uprights, the intermediate tube and the skewer become very hot. It is therefore advisable to always operate the OFYR spit with heat-resistant gloves such as the OFYR gloves. To preserve the primal feel of the OFYR cooking unit, no motor to turn the spit is offered.
