ADVANTAGES
Thin bricks are – like facing bricks – coarse-ceramic products that are formed of natural raw materials and fired at temperatures of approx. 1,150 °C. At Feldhaus, the thin bricks are not cut from whole bricks but are manufactured directly in the appropriate thickness. This also applies to the corners, which are pressed into an angular shape to match the size. Natural resources are preserved, and the environmental friendliness of this building material is reaffirmed.
Optically, the facade made of thin bricks resembles a masonry wall and in terms of design they offer the same diversity and variety as facing bricks. However, thin bricks have a maximum thickness of only 25 mm, which leads to many advantages.
